Naranjo, perhaps more than any other contemporary writer, may be credited with
popularizing the Enneagram though he would disdain such a thought. Just about ever other
teacher, lecturer and writer on the Enneagram can trace their introduction to the system
to Naranjos first study groups, which were conducted in the early 70s in Berkeley,
California.
