About Type Talk
Type Talk is a collection of anecdotes and personal
stories drawn from postings made to an internet Enneagram e-mail
list. These items have been quoted by permission. They tell the story in first person
accounts of how the patterns of thoughts, beliefs, preoccupations, perceptions, feelings
and emotions described in the teachings of the Enneagram have manifested in and influenced
the lives of the story tellers.
Type Talk came about in response to the need
expressed by several subscribers to the mail list for archives of previous topics and
threads and for a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to which newcomers to the list
could be referred when asking about topics and subjects previously covered by subscriber
postings.
All articles, comments and other writings appearing
in Type Talk represent the insight, perceptions and opinions of the individual writers and
editors and do not necessarily represent the viewpoint of the site host or the sponsoring
web site. They are presented here to bring life and experience to a subject which
otherwise could become too intellectualized without the input of first-person accounts and
stories.
These items are assembled and edited by a group of
volunteers on behalf of the participants subscribing to this Enneagram
mail list and are presented here to further the understanding of the Enneagram and its
teachings.
Contributions to Type Talk should be made to the
volunteer listed below who hosts or edits the particular topic or thread of interest to
the contributor. If you wish to introduce a new topic or thread, or, have comments,
questions and suggestions about the content of this section please send e-mail to
the editor. Comments,
questions and suggestions about the web site itself should be sent to webmaster.
